About Me

Hi, I’m Michael! I’m an Instructional Designer skilled in creating meaningful, solution driven learning experiences.

I’ve been in the learning sector for over 10 years and have held a variety of roles including eLearning Developer, Instructional Designer, Trainer, and Educator. Driven by my love for learning, I've worked with diverse groups of learners in presenter-led, hybrid, online, and international settings. 

My current work as an Instructional Designer allows me to oversee the design, development, and delivery on a variety of scenario-based eLearning projects. In addition to end-to-end eLearning development, I also carry out the responsibilities of a Project Manager. In this dual role, I liaise between directors, SMEs, and other stakeholders at each stage of development to produce the highest quality eLearning deliverables for my clients. 

Drawing on adult learning principles, visual design skills, and immersive storytelling allows me to engage learners in unforgettable learning experiences. I specialize in training needs analysis and storyboarding, and I enjoy the thrill of making learning come to life with instructional authoring tools. My primary tools include Articulate Storyline 360, Vyond, Figma, Camtasia, Snagit, and Adobe Captivate.
